The Waterfront and The Loft Wedding Photography in Plymouth

Should you book extra photography coverage? Rachael and Annalise think you should!

Annalise and Rachael had a beautiful and extremely fun wedding at The Plymouth registry office followed by a small (but hilarious - Because Heel’s) walk to see Smeaton’s lighthouse and down to the Plymouth Barbican for food at The Waterfront restaurant. Followed by an epic party at The Loft.

These two decided to have me capture the entire party (rather than leave super early - straight after the first dance) this meant I was able to provide so many beautiful vivid memories of so many fun moments of the evening! Obviously including an inflatable unicorn rubber ring which made its way to the dance floor. You can see the benefit of having me stay until the end of the party below! All of the photos beyond the first dance and more would not exist if I had left early.

Over to Annalise and Rachael …

Your story of how you met and got to this awesome stage in your lives?

So, we actually met on the classic dating site 'plenty of fish' and after a month or so of chatting we finally met up for our first date. Annalise was worried that she would be stood up, and Rachael was worried that a guy would show up!

What was your favourite part of your wedding?

Seeing each other for the first time at the end of the aisle.

What are Your favourite story/s from the day - The one/s that you will tell when you are really really old?

Annalise having to rade the bin to dig out her hair piece which she stupidly threw away! Lucky it was the recycling bin, not out for collection that day otherwise it would have been lost forever along with the moment where we were trying to navigate down the steps at the hoe to the Waterfront in heels. Slipping all over the place.

What made you choose the locations for your wedding?

The relaxed atmosphere of the venue’s and it all being by the sea. Where we feel most at home.

What made you choose the details and theme/styling for your wedding?

We went for a beach theme as the sea is our favourite place to be.

What advice do you have for couples planning their wedding?

Don't stress! Go with the flow, do it your way and enjoy it!

I love food, music and entertainment They are the some of the best things about weddings! What food did you have, was it yummy and what did you have to entertain yourselves and your guests? :

Massive amounts of food in which one guest described it as immense! Burgers, fish and chips were the biggest winners of the day.

Entertainment was in the form of many dress up props include 'frank' the inflatable unicorn.

What were you looking for in your photographer, Why on earth did you choose Jamie Webb as your photographer and what was it like working with Jamie on the day?

We wanted a relaxed and informal approach, which is exactly what we got with Jamie.

Jamie was brilliant to work with on the day and nothing was any trouble. Jamie offered to stay late and capture the craziness of our night and we are so happy that he did.
