Laura and Chris have a rustic, barn wedding at the hundred house in telford.

I first met Laura and Chris at the beautiful, Cornish wedding of Kate and Tim. Laura is Kates cousin. She explained, that when she saw my work, along with my relaxed and friendly approach, she knew that she wanted me as her photographer. I was completely flattered!

When I spoke to Laura on the phone, she told me that this wedding would be in Telford at the picturesque Hundred House (approx. 230 miles from my home) It has always been a dream to be able to travel to amazing new places to capture weddings. So to say that I was excited about this would be an understatement.

I took full advantage of the road trip and I enjoyed blasting Aerosmith, Zac Brown Band among other (heavier and more sweary) music that I can't usually listen to with children in the car.

The day was just awesome! Laura and Chris are laid back and all about family, friends and fun. I cannot begin to explain how happy I felt watching and documenting them have one of the most amazing days of their lives!

One of my highlights of the day was when I asked Laura if she had any sentimental items that she would like me to take a photograph of. She proceeded to show me a fork (pictured below) and explained that she used it to bury a sausage! She read that if you bury a sausage the night before your wedding, it won't rain on the day. This totally worked.

Just a few of the many other amazing moments of this day include... The unbelievably epic amount of confetti, the constant smile on Laura and Chris's faces, air guitaring on the dancefloor and the most intense game of Jenga I have ever witnessed.

It was also amazing to see Kate and Tim again! along with their new addition (baby bump) I am over the moon for them as they are expecting their first child this week. It was so lovely to catch up with the first couple who ever booked me and hear how well they are doing.

Thank you Mr and Mrs Price, for choosing me. Thank you to all of your lovely friends and family who were warm, welcoming and made me feel at home. Thank you for the Hogroast!

Here are some of my favourite photographs from the day...
