Polhawn Fort is such an interesting and historical building which provides beautiful warm and cosy vibes.
Beth and Alfie paired this up with vintage coloured glassware, tall candles and an EPIC day with all of their favourite people, a feast, a dance off or two, hilarious props and a spot of axe throwing (Yep, AXE THROWING!!!)

Here are a few (probably a 100 or so) of my fave moments from the day! Get the kettle on, pour yourself a lovely cuppa, pop your feet up and enjoy!
Let’s drink tea!!!
If these photos gave you all the feels and you would love to have a super relaxed, un awkward, un bossy, un posey photographer who is highly likely to drink all the tea and chat to your Grandparents about the good old days. Then let’s arrange one of my no obligation free consultations (a glorified way of saying, a cuppa and a chat) and we can see if I’d be perfect for you!
Join me as I delve into the enchanting wedding of Sammie and Josh. From heartfelt vows and an electrical storm to mouthwatering BBQ, candy floss, popcorn, and vintage cars. Their wedding day was a whirlwind of unforgettable moments. The Beach Meadow at Caerhays provided the perfect backdrop for their laid-back, festival-vibe celebration. Relive the magic of their day through these captured moments, and discover why Sammie and Josh are absolute legends in my book!

Briony and Jon booked a field, hired a Marquee and a catering company, filled the marquee with photos, old china and wild flowers, This day was awesome! they had a ride in a Land Rover, a wonderful afternoon tea, some super emotional speeches, a dog walk with their beloved Ziggy, some silly photo props and fun with mates on the skate ramp.
Katy and Matt had a super fun and relaxed DIY wedding on Dartmoor. With VW Beetles, speeches that made people ugly cry, a broken bridesmaids dress, a Magician, live music, a homemade bar, Ice cream and pizza vans, a totally dreamy moment where it was raining as the sun came down and we got amazing photos, sticky buns on the dancefloor (yep! haha) and an absolute banger of a party!
Rainy weddings are highly likely here in the UK. They don’t have to be your worst nightmare. In this post I let you know why I think they are awesome and give you some tips on how to prepare for a rainy wedding day.
This is the perfect example of how beautiful a tiny, stress free wedding can be! Even during a pandemic. Olivia and Phil had a stunning intimate elopement at The Cow Shed in Cornwall. In this post I feature their elopement and showcase how beautiful The Cow Shed in Cornwall is.
It is such an honour to be selected to photograph an elopement like this one. I can’t comprehend how amazing it feels to be a third wheeler (with a camera) on such an intimate day that involves no guests and no rules. Just the couple and whatever they want to do with their time together on their special day.

When I asked Harriet and Liam what their ideal wedding would look like, they said it would be…
”Surrounded by friends, family, sunshine, dancing and lots of chilled fizz!”
… It definitely did not disappoint!
Annalise and Rachael had a beautiful and extremely fun wedding at The Plymouth registry office followed by a small (but hilarious - Because Heel’s) walk to see Smeaton’s lighthouse and down to the Plymouth Barbican for food at The Waterfront restaurant. Followed by an epic party at The Loft.
