Wedding Yurts - back garden Wedding - Lucy and Nick - uk wedding photographer

Lucy and Nick's Lutterworth Town Hall and Wedding Yurts, Back garden Wedding.

You being relaxed, allowed us to relax. We never felt under pressure on the day and you got on well with the guests.

You listened. That was the biggest positive! You listened to what was important to us and took the time to know us as individuals.

I was very excited to travel up to Leicestershire to see Lucy and Nick again! You may remember them from The Windiest Engagement Session Ever! This time around I would have the pleasure of capturing their far less windy and even more awesome Wedding Yurts Wedding.

I'm so excited to finally share Lucy and Nick's Super personal, DIY and fun country back garden wedding. The preparations took place at Lucy's family home in Swinford, Leicestershire. With a little trip to Lutterworth town hall for the ceremony. Then back to the field at the back of the family home. Where Lucy, Nick and their lovely friends and family would eat, drink and party like there's no tomorrow in a big yurt.

You might have always dreamed of having the best day of your life at home. But you wonder how you could pull of an amazing wedding on your own land. Well, let me tell you how Lucy and Nick did this to perfection. They hired a company called Wedding Yurts, Where the lovely owner Lizzie and her team bring their luxury travelling wedding venue to you! (I know, Mind Blown!) It's not just any wedding venue either. Wait until you see the photos to see how beautiful it is as I am struggling to find the words to describe it. There is even a Tea station which obviously sold it for me.

This was such lovely, chilled and fun day featuring The coolest wedding venue ever! Lucy's dog (Also called Nick) with a bow tie, A hilarious speech including a story of how Lucys Husband and Dog have the same name and how this caused a little confusion in the early days. This day was so fun with games of rounders and an absolutely epic party hosted by the wonderful Festival sons. I ended the evening by hugging everyone goodbye (who all had ties on their heads by this point) and grabbing a yummy pizza served from a caravan.

A huge thank you to Luck, Nick. Thank you to your family and friends who are absolutely lovely too! It was Lucy's Bridesmaid Rozzy who recommended me to Lucy and Nick. I had the pleasure of photographing Rozzy and Tim's wedding a couple of years ago. So It was so lovely to catch up with them too.
